White Creek Cemetery Sign facing 14th Lane, in April
White Creek Cemetery from the entrance road looking towards the southwest, on a cloudy afternoon in mid-AprilThis project was begun in mid-April 2002 with some random photos, and in late summer 2005 Gordie Klaus donated his transcription of this cemetery to our site. The White Creek cemetery is a very old cemetery, with some barely legible tombstones dating from the late 1850's. It is still in use and there are newer monuments at the northern and western edges of the cemetery. In 2002, Mike and Evonne Mickelson gave an acre of land to the White Creek cemetery association. The cemetery will be enlarged and a new fence added, assuring continued use of this burial ground.
