Otto Arendsee died at his home one mile east of Friendship on February 4, 1903, of diabetes, after a long and painful illness. The subject of this notice was a native of Germany, having been born in that country on July 18, 1852. Later in the same year his parents emigrated to America and came to Wisconsin, settling on a farm in the town of Springfield in Marquette County. Here he passed the years of his childhood and many years of his life. |
