ERNEST H. WILSON, stationery, Ashland, was born in Roscoe, Ill., Sept. 27, 1857; remained there till 1878, attending high school and afterward acting clerk in a general store. He came to Ashland in 1878, and entered Wilmarth's bank; served as Deputy Register of Deeds in 1879-80; was elected Register of Deeds in 1880, and now holds that office; he is also Deputy Clerk of Courth, and Assistant Postmaster. Mr. Wilson is secretary of the Masonic lodge of Ashland, and president of the cornet band.
