Old Settlers
W.A.Kent has kindly furnished us with the
following list of Barron county's early settlers. He has escertained
by looking up records in the Register of Deeds office that the following
people owned homesteads in Barron county prior to 1869. Of this list
of 54, Mr. Kent personally knew 43 and says
that 13 are yet living to his personal knowledge.
