ZYRKOWSKI, Mary OBITUARY
Mary R. Zyrkowski, 75, Herbster, died Tuesday at Memorial Medical Center, Ashland. She was born July 1, 1910, at Hartshorne, Okla., the daughter of Adam and Ellizabeth Radzevich. She came to Herbster from Chicago in 1974 and has lived there since that time. Prior to this, she and her husband were summer residents of Herbster for many years.
On Sept. 1, 1934, she was married at Chicago to Joseph Zyrkowski. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last year. Mrs. Zyrkowski was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic church, Herbster.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph, Herbster; one son, William Zyrkowski, Chicago; three daughters, Mrs. Aldo (Joanna) Piscitelli, Mt. Prospect, Ill.; Mrs. George (Dianna) Epiney, Park Ridge, Ill.; Mrs Luis(Barbara Lee) Alverez, San Clemente, Calif; 17 grandghildren; and five great grandchildren.
Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. John (Julia) Mares, Grayslake, Ill.; Mrs. Anna Takir, Cicero, Ill.; and nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Francis Catholic Church, Herbster, with the Rev. Fr. Brendan Kunda officiating. Burial will be in the Herbster Community Cemetery.
Visitation was from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Bratley Funeral Home, Washburn. Prayers were said there at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Memorials may be made to the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
