How to order BIRTH, MARRIAGE or DEATH certificates
Although the pre-1907 vital indexes contained within these Burnett Co. pages were created by the Wisconsin Department of Health and Family Services, Vital Records Division, the exact same records can be found at the county level. If you find a record that you would like to have, you can obtain copies of originals by writing to the Burnett Co. Register of Deeds Office at:

When writing to the Burnett Co. Register of Deeds office, please be sure to include the full names of the individual, type of record you are requesting (birth, marriage or death), along with the date of the event. Also, note in your request that this is for GENEALOGICAL PURPOSES ONLY.
Add $3.00 for each additional copy
ordered at the same time. It is also appropriate to include an SASE (4
1/8" x 9 1/2") when requesting these certificates.
Please note: I do not have access to these records. Please do not write asking for further details on these vital records, as I do not have anything more than what is presented here in this index. Also, please note that the names within these indexes are as they are found on the indexes. Therefore, corrections will not be made. Thank you for understanding!
