The Columbian, Vancouver, WA - 12/20/98: - Mary E. Baran, Vancouver, WA. Mary Elizabeth Baran died Friday, December 18, 1998, in Vancouver, WA. She was 79. Mrs. Baran was born May 17, 1919, in Chippewa Falls, WI. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and enjoyed growing flowers, sewing, wood working and cooking. She retired as a customer service representative from The Columbian after 13 years. Survivors include two sons, Charles and Paul, both of Vancouver, WA and special friend, Gordon Bottemiller of Vancouver. The body will be cremated and services will be private.
