     Ernest C. Buntz, 65,Route 2, Chippewa Falls, who died Sunday at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minn., was born in the Town of Tilden, Chippewa County and lived in that vicinity all of his life.  He farmed until his retirement the first of this year.
     Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. from the Big Elk Creek Lutheran Church, the Rev. Gilbert Borreson officiating.  Interment will be in the Lake View Cemetery, Eau Claire.
     Friends may call this afternoon and evening and Wednesday morning until 11 at Lenmark's Eau Claire.
     Surviving are his wife, Elsie; one son, Ronald T., of Chippewa Falls; one daughter, Mrs. Edward Thompson, Eau Claire; two sisters, Mrs. Fred Crain of Iowa City, Iowa and Mrs. Merwyn Cook of Denver, Colo., three brothers, Albert of Chippewa Falls, Fred of Eau Claire and Otto of Menomonie; and one grandchild.
