     Mrs. Louise Bunts, age 88, passed away at the Eagleton Rest Home early this morning.
     The Olson Funeral Home, Bloomer, is in charge of arrangements.
     A complete obituary will be published later.

Mrs. Louise Buntz
 
     Mrs. Louise A. Buntz, 88, a resident of Eagleton passed away Saturday morning.  The body will lie in state at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer until noon Tuesday when the remains will be taken to St. Paul's Lutheran Church where it will lie in state until the time of the services at 2:00 p.m.  The Reverend  E.J.C. Penzlow, Jr., will officiate internment will be in the Forrest Hill Cemetery in Chippewa Falls.
     She was born on May 26, 1869, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Moeri of Chippewa Falls, where she lived with the exception of the last year where she stayed with her sister, Mrs. Frieda Kressin.
     She was married on June 18th 1895 at Zion Lutheran Church in Chippewa Falls to William Buntz and farmed around Chippewa Falls until his death in March 1925.  She also was preceded in death by one daughter, Emma, (Mrs. Herman Weise) and two sons, Fred and Charles, three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Langel, Mrs. Louis Schwartz and Mrs. Ida Verus.
     She is survived by Earnest, Fred and Albert of the Town of Tilden, Otto of Menomonie, Florence (Mrs. Fred Crain) of Iowa City, Iowa, Edith, (Mrs. Merwyn Cook) of Denver, Colorado and one sister Mrs. Frieda Kressin of Bloomer.
     She is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
 
Comments:  I now know why I was unable to find her obit in the newspapers…..  the newspaper spelled the name as "Puntz" and they also indicated that they were married in 1905.  Oops.. so much for proof reading.  I corrected the date and the spelling in this obit transcription. Ida Caroline Moeri Verus died in 1910, he later remarried prior to 1920.  No idea to cause of her death, but she had a daughter in/around 1904.
