MRS. ALBERT KRESSIN
Mrs. Albert (Frieda) Kressin, 68, of Bloomer, passed
away at St. Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls, Wednesday afternoon.
She was born Sept. 1, 1891, the daughter of Fredrick
and Emma Moeri in the Town of Tilden. She married Albert Kressin, February
7, 1910 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Bloomer, then lived in Chippewa for two
years. They made their home on a farm in the Cardott area for five years
before moving to Bloomer where she had since resided.
She was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church of
Bloomer, a past president of the Ladies Aide and a member of the Ladies Benefit
Club.
Surviving are one son Fred and three daughters, Mrs.
Gilbert (Alice) Rosenbrook, Mrs. Herbert (Laura) Rosenbrook and Mrs. Paul (Ruth)
Koller of Cornell, 16 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a number of
nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her husband, two brothers,
Charles and Fred and five sisters, Mrs. Laura Schwartz, Mrs. Ida Verus, Mrs.
Minnie Langel and Mrs. Louise Buntz.
Friends may call at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer
from Friday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock until noon on Saturday when the remains
will be taken to St. Paul's Lutheran Church where they will remain until the
time of the services at 2:00 o'clock on Saturday afternoon. The Reverend
E.J.C. Prenzlow, Sr., will officiate and interment will be in the Bloomer City
Cemetery.
