Mrs. Wildred Sonnentag

Mrs. Wildred Sonnentag, 60 year old resident of the Town of Edson, passed away late Thursday evening at St. Joseph's Hospital at Marshfield.

She was born Lorraine Martinson on September 6, 1910 in the Town of Edson. She grew and attended school there and on November 12, 1929 was married to Wilfred Sonnentag at Edson and spent the remainder of her life there. She was a member of sacred Heart Catholic Church and had been a past president of the Alter Society and financial secretary of the Catholic Order of Foresters for 20 years.

She is survived by her husband, three sons, Raymond and Donald Sonnentag of rural Cadott, and George of Hales Corners, one brother Leonard Martinson of Augusta, two sisters, Mrs.Albert Marion of Augusta and Sister Marie of Eau Claire, and 18 grandchildren. she was preceded in death by one son, Wilfred Jr.

Funeral services will be held Monday 11 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Edson, with Father Eugene Smith officiating. Interment will be made in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Leiser Funeral Home, Cadott, from Sunday 2 p.m. with the Rosary at 8 p.m. Sunday.
