Sister M. Roseann, Formerly of Boyd, Dies in Illinois

BOYD, Wis. (Special)-- Funeral services for Sister M. Roseann, 36, who died Jan. 14 in Springfield, Ill., were held Jan. 16 at St. Francis of Assisi church in Springfield. Burial was in Crucifixion hill, Springfield.

Born Minnie Gerrits in Chili, Wis., in 1911, she came to Boyd with her parents and attended St. Joseph's school here. she later worked in St. Joseph's hospital here and went to Springfield in 1931. She took her vows there in 1936.

In addition to her mother, Mrs. Nellie Gerrits of Boyd, she is survived by: Seven sisters, Mrs. Mathew Deutsch, Boyd, Mrs. Marvin Endvick, Stanley, Mrs. Roland Stong, Milwaukee, Mrs. Wenzel Stoehr, Chippewa Falls, Mrs.Howard Eslinger, Mrs. William Wagner, both of Edson, and Mrs. Joseph Haase, Jim Falls, and six brothers, George and Ray, both of Boyd, Jerome, Stanley, Nick, Nekoosa, Peter, Milwaukee, and Martin of Edson.
