Funeral Services Held Saturday Morning For Former Stanley Resident

Funeral services for Peter Lauer of Chippewa Falls were held Saturday morning at St. Ann'e Church, the Reverand Paul Pitzenberger offering the the requiem mass.

Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Mr.Lauer has been a resident of Chippewa County since coming from Germany in 1883 with his parents. He was born in Germany, October 1, 1877 and died in Chippewa Falls on February 8.

He lived for several years on a farm near Stanley and also lived in Stanley before moving to Chippewa Falls.

Survivors are his wife, and three daughters: Mrs. Joseph Walters of Eau Claire; Mrs. Carl Artmann of Milwaukee; Mrs. Louis Malinouski of Thorp: three sons: Bernard, Eau Claire; Andrew with the U.S. Army in Alaska, and George of Stanley; three brothers: Jake of Eau Claire; Matt and John of Stanley; a sister, Mrs. Mike McCann of Hollandale, and 23 grandchildren.
