MRS. BARNEY MICKISource: Found clipping, unknown newspaper Mrs. Barney Micke Dies Suddenly At Home Monday Mrs. Barney Micke died suddenly at ther home Monday evening. She was the former Barbara Bohman, born at Brillion, February 18, 1872. Her marriage to Barney Micke was solemnized at Holland, (Wis.) Sept. 28, 1896. They came to a farm in the town of Worden in that year and farmed until 1938 when they retired to Stanley. she was well known in this community and Worden. she belonged to St. Ann's Christian Mother's society. One significant event in her life was the celebration of their golden wedding anniversary in 1946. Surviving are her husband and four children, Anton of Thorp, Clarnece of Gilman, Joseph of Owen, Mildred who is Mrs. Ben Kmiec of Greenwood, 16 grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren. The following brothers and sisters also survive, Tony Bohman of Hortonville, Frank Bohman of Brillion, Mrs. James (Mary) Gill of Manitowoc, Ann Galbraith of Manitowoc. Six children preceded her in death, as did two grandchildren and a brother and sister. Father Paul Pitzenberger officiated at funeral services at St. Ann's church, Thursday morning at 9:30.
