Mrs. Lena Nelson

Mrs. Lena Nelson, of Abbotsford died at the hopital in Chippewa Falls, on Thursday, Nov. 13th, 1919, following an operation for goitre. She was 53 years of age. Mrs. Nelson had been a resident of Abbotsford sine 1883, having come to that village with her husband from Lomira. Her husband Isaac Nelson, was buried about ten years ago. She is survived by two sons Herbert and Arthur , of Chippewa Falls, and one daughter Mrs. Chas. Krone, of Abbotsford, and three brothers, August of Abbotsford, Herman, of Granton, and William of Portland Ore., and one sister, Mrs. Albert Franz, of Chippewa Falls. Funeral services were held from Zion Lutheran Church in this city Monday afternoon, Rev. C.C. Hartenstein officiating, and remains laid to rest in Colby cemetery.
