Funeral Services for Mrs. Robert Tischendorf Held Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 pm From the Kraut Funeral Home and 2:00pm from the Peace Evangelical Church for Mrs. Robert Tischendorf, 51, who passed away at her home in Minocqua on March 26th. Rev. J.J. Hoffman read the services and interment was made in Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Tischendorf, nee Clara Margaret nelson, was born on March 14, 1890 at Abbotsford. she was a member of the first graduating class at the Abbotsford High School. She was baptized and confirmed at the Norwegian Lutheran Church in Dorchester.

As a young woman Mrs. Tischendorf taught school in the Clovernook school near Curtiss and the Cleveland school north of the village.

Mr. and Mrs. Tischendorf were married in Dorchester September 6, 1911 and lived on a farm north east of here until 1924. They then moved to Minocqua where Mr. Tischendorf started a contracting business. Some time ago Mr. Tischendorf turned his Contracting business over to his sons and with his wife started a resort on Fence Lake, near Minocqua.

Mrs. Tischendorf had suffered heart trouble for some time, but did not consider the ailment very serious until about two weeks ago, when a slight stroke forced her into bed for several days. She visited a physician last Wednesday evening, and a few minutes after returning from the call a second and fatal stroke brought death.

One daughter preceded her in death. Beside her husband, she is survived by two sons, Lloyd and William, and one daughter, Mrs. Gladys Buelow, all of Minocqua; a brother, Albert Nelson, Abbotsford; two sisters, Mrs. William Schulz, Cornell, and Mrs. Robert Virgin, Trempeleau; and three grandchildren.

The pallbearers were Robert Bentz, William Tessmer, Frank Kraut; William Klessig, Richard Schmidt and Henry Rau.

Among the out-of-town friends and relatives here for the funeral were; Mr. and Mrs.John Burnett and daughter, Ruth and Mrs. Cora Loughton, Fairbault, Minn., Arthur and Herbert Nelson Chippewa Falls; Mr. and Mrs. A.E.Frederickson and Mr. and Mrs. George Dahl of Minocqua; Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Nelson and family and Mr. and Mrs. Milton Larson; Ogema; Mr. and Mrs. Ed Leichtnam, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Leichtnam, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Leichtnam, Miss Alice Leichtnam, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Nelson, Clarence and Dorothy Nelson, Abbotsford.

Mr. and Mrs. Schultz, Miss Laura Schultz, Mr. Albert Schultz and Mrs. Ben Pitch, Cornell; Mrs. Robert Virgin and Mr. Wynnis Virgin, Trempeleau; Miss Delores Koehler, Plymouth; Mr. Wm. Koehler, West Bend; Mr. Al Blunk and Dr. Gascoyne, Kohler; Mr.Erhardt Kleinheinz, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Buelow and son, Grant Baraboo; Mr. and Mrs. Kraut, Curtiss; Mr. and Mrs. Wm Tessmer, Colby; Mrs. Neils Neilson, Racine.
