Robert A. Tischendorf

The Rev. Fred W. Kollath officiated at funeral services for Robert Tischendorf, 68, in Peace Evangelical Church here at 2:00p.m. today, august 9. Burial was in the family plot in Dorchester Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Tischendorf, a former resident of this community, succumbed to a hear attack at his home in Minocqua Monday. He was born June 3, 1888, in Germany, and came to this community with his parents when he was three years old. He grew to manhood and was engaged in farming here until about thirty years ago, when he moved to Minocqua.

Surviving are his widow, a son and a daughter, Lloyd of Allen Grove, and Mrs. Walter (Gladys) Buelow, Kenosha; three sisters, Mrs. Joel Winchell, Dorchester, Mrs. George Dahl, Ogema and Mrs. Ed Leichtnam, Abbotsford; 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, the former Clara Nelson; a daughter who died in infancy, a son William in 1954, and a brother William.
