C. H. HALL, M.D., was born in the village of Munson, Hampden Co., Mass., March 16, 1846; son of Sidney H. and Sarah B. HALL, who reside in the town of Burke, Dane Co., Wis.; he was educated at the University of Wisconsin from which he graduated in 1870, from the scientific department, having also studied Latin; having begun the study of physiology, chemistry, anatomy, etc., he gradated from the Hahnemann Medical College, Philadelphia, in march 1876; was appointed hospital physician in Philadelphia; studied with the late Dr. C. HERING, of Philadelphia; since May 1876, he has been engaged in practice in Madison; he is a member of the Alumni Association of the University of Wisconsin; he holds at present, several offices with the temperance organizations of the State. He was married in Madison, May 18, 1877, to Carrie NORTON; she was born at Prairie du Sac, Sauk Co., Wis.; daughter of John B. NORTON, of this city; they have one daughter, Claudia J. Dr. HALL has been Medical Examiner for various insurance organizations, and is connected with secret societies, etc.; in 1877, the University of Wisconsin conferred on him the degree of Master of Sciences.
