The Catholic Community in Eden, WI has always maintained a strong tradition of honoring those who paved the way for the present generation. Even though the old mission church disappeared many years ago, the lot that it stood on, and the cemetery associated with the church, are lovingly cared for to this day.

Recently, a new monument was erected on the grounds of the old cemetery. It lists the names of those early pioneer family members, who never had a marker on their final resting place (or whose marker has since been lost).

The monument was erected "In Memory of William and Clara Majerus Sr. Family."

What follows is the information contained on that commemorative marker, gleaned from church records, family information and other sources.
