Milton - Edwin C Purucker, age 84, died Wed, May 19 1999, at Mercy Hospital. He was born April 13, 1915 in the town of Sullivan, Jefferson Co, the son of John G and Amanda (Schultz) Purucker. He was a graduate of Ft Atkinson High School, served in the C.C.C., served in the Marine Army Corps during WWII, and was active with The Fort ATkinson American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, and National Assoc of Retired Federal Employees. He was a mail carrier and ruatl mail carrier for the majority of his life.

   Edwin is survived by his wife, Margaret of Milton, a niece Carol Kern; and neighbors and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Erna; and a sister, Arlene.

   At Edwins request, there will be no services. He will be interned at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Milwaukee. Memorials in his name may be made to Rotary Gardens in Janesville. Henning Funeral Home is assisting the family.
