Funeral Wednesday at Whitewater for Ferdinand A Maasz 
Funeral services were held Wednesday at the First Englis Luthern Church at Whitewater for Ferdinand A Maasz, 69 who died early Monday morning in his home there. The Rev, I. A. Suby officiated and burial was in The Cold Spring cemetery.
Mr Maasz was born March 6 1874, in Germany and came to America when he was seven years old and lived in Cold Spring.
On March 11, 1908 he was married to Eda Langholff and they lived on farms in Jefferson county most of their married life. They moved to Whitewater in March 1942.
Surviving are his wife,; three daughters, Mrs Ulm Miller, Fort Atkinson, Mrs Willard Sake, Palmyra, Mrs Alvin Cox, Whitewater; six brothers, Charles, Milwaukee, Otto, Herman, William, Henry, and John, all of Whitewater; two sisters, Mrs Charles Kitzman and Mrs Frank Ludeman, Whitewater, and six grandchildren.
