Frederick Gottlieb Langholff
 
   Frederick G Langholff, 70, a retired farmer, died at his home on South Main st, Monday night at 9:30. He had been ill approximately 2 weeks
   Mr Langholff was born in the town of Jeffeson on Dec 4 1860 and spent the majority of his life on farms in this vicinity. He married Bertha Schroeder on March 26 1885.
   An industrious and capable farmer, Mr Langholff erned the respect of a large number of friends and was well thought of in Jefferson where he made his home for a number of years after retiring. He was a member of St John's Lutheran Church.
   Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Lydia, at home, a son, Frank, rt 2, Jefferson and a daughter, Mrs Will Knoerr or Rt 3 Jefferson, a sister, Mrs Augusta Mumm of Evanstonn, Ill and 7 grandchildren.
The Hildebrandt funeral home is in charge of the funeral and the body will be taken to the home this (Thursday) afternoon where services will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30. Services will be held at St John's Lutheran Church at 2 and burial will be in the Union Cemetery. The REv O Kuhlow will officiate.
