Geraldine Packard Wong

Geraldine (Geri) Patricia (Packard) Wong on Honolulu, Hawaii, died January 18, 1998.

Mrs. Wong was born September 8, 1932, in Cambridge, the daughter of Charles and Margarette (Ewell) Packard. She graduated from Cambridge High School in 1950. She attended the University of Wisconsin - Madison and transferred to Platteville State Teachers College, graduating in 1954 and then taught in Janesville for one year. She attended the University of Hawaii where she met her husband to be, Leonard Koon Tuck Wong. They were married October 15, 1955. The marriage was blessed with three sons, Kerry, Kurt and Kyle. She taught in Hawaii approximately 10 years and then became a licensed real estate broker until her death on January 18. Her husband, "Tucky," died of a massive heart attack April 18, 1964.

She is survived by her sons, Kerry (Jaylynne) and Kyle of Honolulu, and Kurt of Madison; two grandsons, Laiana and Kumuhonua Wong of Honolulu; and a brother, Robert Packard of Cambridge.

Funeral services were held January 24 at Waiokeola Congregational Church, Hawaii, with Pastor Bruce Turner officiating.evening at the Nitardy Funeral Home, Cambridge.
