Harlow Langholff
Painting Firm Founder Dies
Last rites will be said Tuesday for Harlow O Lagnholff, 85, a retired San
Jose Painting contractor, who died Saturdy after a brief illness.
Langholff, of 856 S 14th st was a native of Fort Atkinson Jefferson Co
Wisconsin, and had lived in San Jose 50 years. He and his wife, Ruth, who
had recently celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary, had lived for 50
years in the South 14th street home they built.
Langholff founded the Harlow Langholff painting timr 50 years ago in San
Jose, retiring 10 years ago.
His son , Marvin H Langholff, has been controller for the University of
Santa Clara for the last 10 years.
Langholff was a member of York Right Bodies, Starlight Chapter 401 of the
Order of Eastern Star and Masonic Friedship Lodge No 210
Survivors include his wife, Ruth, two sons, Marvin H and David M Langholff,
both of San Jose; nine grandchildren , and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. at the DArling & Fischer Garden
Chapel, followed by burial at Oak Hill Memorial Park

In San Jose California, Feb 21 1926. Harlow O Langholff husband of Ruth
Langholff , father of Marvin H and David M Langholff, all of San Jose and
the late Robert H Langholff. Also survived by nine grandchildren and five
great grandchildren a native of Wisconisn, age 85 year. A member of York
Right Bodies, Starlight Chapter 401 O.E.S. and Friendship Lodge No 210 F&AM
Funeral services Tuesday Feb 24 at 1:30 p.m. from teh DArling Fischer Garden
Chapel, 471 E Santa Clara St San Jose. Services under the auspices of
Friendship Lodge 210 F&A.M.
