Hertha E Ebbott, 101, formerly of Fort ATkinson, died on Tuesday, Oct 21 1997, at Fairhaven Residential Facility in Whitewater, where she had been a resident since June of 1986

   Born in Fort Atkinson on Sept 23 1896, to Carl and Pauline (Westphal) Wandschneider, she married Ralph W Ebbott on July 17 1935, in Fort Atkinson. He died on Sept 28 1972

   A graduate of Fort Atkinson High School, she attended Milwaukee Teacher's Training School, and had taught Kindergarten at Wausau, LaCrosse and Waukesha.

   Mrs Ebbott was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ, Martha Chapter 66 Order of Eastern Star and the Fort Atkinson Woman's Club.

   Surviving are one daughter, Lucretia (Richard) Brehm of Lanesboro, Minnesota; three granddaughters; eight great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

   She was also precieded by two sisters and one brother.

   Private family services will be held at a later date.

   Burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery.

   There will be no visitation.

   Memorials may be made to the Shriner's Hospital

   The Dunlap Memorial Home is assisting the family.
