Miss Mildred Banker

 

   Miss Mildred A Banker, 85, a 40 year resident of Oconomowoc who served as Jefferson County nurse from 1920 to 1926, died September 19 at Summit hospital, Oconomowoc.

   Born October 3, 1881, in the town of Farmington, the daughter of George and Anna Langholff Banker. Miss Banker was graduated as a nurse from Wesley Memorail hospital, Chicago, and was employed for a time at Ravenswood hospital, Chicago

   After serving as Jefferson County nurse, she became the city and school nurse at Oconomowoc. She was a member of the Methodist Church, Eastern Star and Electa Shrine.

   She is survived by a sister-in-law, Mrs Ethel Kumlien Banker, Fort Atkinson; two nieces and other relatives.
