Aged Lady Passes Away
Mrs Gottlieb Langholff Died at her home
last Monday - Deceased was Nearly
Seventy Years Old

Had father time but stayed the hand of death a few months longer, Mr and Mrs Langholff would have observed the golden wedding anniversary of what would have been fifty years of a most happy and fruitful union. But such it was not to be. Death entered the home and claimed the wife, and mother and ended all earthly pain for a long and patient sufferer.
Mrs Gottlieb Langholff nee Biederman was born at Obershaechstaedt, Bavaria, on April 14 1833. She came with her parents to America in 1840, coming direct to Jefferson County. She was united in marriage to Gottlieb Langholff on April 8 1853. From this union there were born nine children, three of which have already entered the great beyond. Besides the husband the deceased leaves six children, two brothers, and three sisters, a score of grandchildren and a host of other relatives to mourn her demise. The children are John and Fred Langholff of the town of Jeffeson, Mrs. Johanna Kowalke, Mrs Catherina H Mack, Mrs Elizabeth A Jaeger, and Mrs Anna Warnke of Milwaukee.
The funeral services were held yesterday afternoon. Internment made at the Lutheran Cemetery near this City
The sympathy of the entire community goes out to the bereaved husband and children.
