St. John's Lutheran Church
in Budsin, Marquette County, WI
St. John's of Budsin, a former small community named after one in Posen. It is at the NW corner of County road E and state road 22, where the first log church was built in 1855. An earlier church was started on a farm about a mile south and east from Budsin, on what is now called Eagle Road. The Montello St. John's is Wisconsin synod, like Emmanuel - Mecan and Princeton St. John's. St. John's - Crystal Lake was the first of a long time joint parish with St. Paul's - Newton, and Trinity - Mecan. They are Missouri synod. Source: Daryl Weishaar
