Creamy Italian Chicken


3 to 5 boneless skinless chicken breasts, to cover the bottom of your slow cooker
1 envelope Italian Salad Dressing Mix
1 10oz can cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup (reduced fat is okay)
3 or 4oz cream cheese (reduced fat and fat free work well)

optional ingredients (add any or all): 
1 small can sliced mushrooms (add with soup)
Egg noodles, cook and stir into sauce before serving

1. Place chicken breasts in a lightly greased 5 to 6 qt slow cooker.
2. Mix the dressing mix and cream soup together. 
3. Break up cream cheese into about 8 or 10 pieces and stir into soup mixture.
4. Spread soup mixture over top of chicken breasts.
4. Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hrs(depending on how fast your slow cooker cooks). 
Good with bread from the bread machine and a salad or green vegetable.
