Charles K Simonds, Orderly Sergeant in Capt. Manning's Company, 32d Regt. Wis. Vols. Died 
at the General Hospital, Jackson, Tenn. In the 10th inst. Aged 26 yr, 6 mo and 9 days.

In this village Apr 9th, of arachnitis magife louelle, the only daughter of Capt. W. D. 
Persie A. Walker, aged 1yr, 5 mo 2 days.   10 Apr

On the same day, Mary Almira, daughter of Seth B. and Vasti M. Jones, age 9 mo 21 days.

Fatal Accident -  A child of Mrs. Reardon of this town, age 3 yr 6 mo, while playing in 
the house on Sat. last, fell into a pail of boiling water and was so badly scalded that 
it died on Tues. morning.     Fri. 17 Apr 1863

In this village, on the 24th inst., of Erysipelatous fever, complicated with meningitis, and 
a painful swelling of one knee and leg, Alvah M, the oldest and only son of Dr. H. J. & Nancy 
Pratt, aged 10yr 5 mo and 13 days.  The funeral service was attended by Rev. Mr. Fagan, at 
the Catholic church, on Sunday. 17 Apr, 1863.

The funeral service of Thomas Heath, a deceased soldier from this county, was held at the 
church last Sunday.  The sermon was preached by Rev. Mr. Parker.  17 Apr. 1863.

At Neshkoro, April 24, Omer H. Ralph,  The disease of which he died, is not reported.  Mr.
Ralph has been ill since last summer; but he had partially recovered, when he was taken 
worse and died in a short time�..

In the town of Buffalo, on the 18th of May, Sarah O. daughter of Henry A. and Alice Crooker, 
aged 14 yr.. . . . . . . . 3 Jun 1863

At Murfreesboro, Tenn., on the 13th of May last, Moroe E., son of Sylvester Dibble of this 
town, aged 26 yrs. . . . . . . . . . 17 Jun 1863.

In hospital May 12th, 1863, Dewitt Rowland, private in Co. G, 32 rgt Wis Volunteers.  
Dewitt Rowland was a son of Mrs. Battles of Newton, in this county.  1 July, 1863

In the town of Douglas, Aug 26, 1863, at her residence, Mrs. Anna Drew, aged 60yr, wife 
of Richard Drew, Esq., one of the County Board.  . . . . . . . 3 Sept 1863

In the village Montello, Aug 26th, of general dropsy, induced by an organic disease of the 
heart, Amanda, daughter of George and Jessie McKay, aged 7yr and 10 mo.  The Funeral service 
was held at the Catholic church in Buffalo, attended by Rev. Mr. Fagan.  . . . . 9 Sept 1863.

In the town of Douglas, Oct 3rd of psoae absee, Stephen E Smith, age not known.  Mr. Smith 
was one of the first settlers in this county.  4 Nov, 1863

Death by Drowning
A sad accident occurred on Monday the 16th inst., in the town of Buffalo by which a Mr.
John Inglehart, lost his life.  The circumstances connected with his death is as follows...
25 Nov 1863.

In Montello, Monday, Dec 28th, 1863, of Paeudo membremost, croup,, Milo James, son of 
Asahel and Hanuah Turner, aged 6yr 5 mo and 7 days.  . . . 30 Dec 1863.

forbid all persons everywhere, harboring or trusting her on my account, for I shall pay no
