The circuit court of the county lasted four days, and finished up a larger amount of 
business than we have had in court for several terms past.  Besides our resident attorneys, 
there were present, H. G. Webb, R. L. D. Potter, and L. L. Soule, from Wautoma; Judge Wheeler, 
of Berlin; A. B. Hamilton, of Ripon, and J. M. Fish, of Princeton.  The grand Jury found but 
one indictment.  The following cases were disposed of as follows:

Registered Marriages:  
The number of marriages that have taken place in this county during the year 1865 and 
registered in the office of the Register of Deeds, is 38.  Seven have been reported thus 
far this year.  There are many which have never been reported.  The law makes if obligatory 
upon all persons performing marriage ceremonies to send a report to the Register for 
registration.  The law also provides for the registration of all births and deaths, but has 
never been enforced.   7 Feb. 1866

In Packwaukee, Feb. 25th, of inflammation of the lungs, Isaac H. Pickering, aged 54 years.

Fatal Pleasure Ride - Mr. R. Thwing, etc.    28 Apr.

A Man lost in the Woods - Elijah King, aged 84 yr, living in the town of New Chester, 
Adams Co., etc. . . 9 Jun.

Sad Accident - Mr. Edwin Lynch, in the town of Buffalo, etc.   16 Jun

Drowned - Two little girls, aged about ten years, and daughters of Mr. J. J. Wood and Mr. 
Stephen Clark, of Neshkoro, in this county, were drowned. . etc.. 14 July.

In Neshkoro, on the 10th inst., of consumption, a daughter of Michael Powers, aged 14 years.

Notice:
Whereas, my wife Reckee has left my bed and board without just cause of provocation, 
therefore, all persons are warned against trusting her on my account, as I shall pay no
