Louis John Huber, 67, of Rhinelander, died Saturday at St. Mary’s Hospital.

He was born April 9, 1918 in Rhinelander.

Mr. Huber attended Rhinelander schools. He graduated from Rhinelander High School in 1936. He served in the Air Force in World War II as a bombardier. He married the former Agnes Heise of Rhinelander. He was employed with St. Regis Paper Co. until he retired in 1981. He was a past president of Little League baseball and a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Mary) Friday and Mrs. David (Debbi) Haug, both of Rhinelander, and Sharon Huber of Oshkosh; a son Michael of Oshkosh; a sister, Mrs. Edward (Lois) Snook of Monico; two brothers, Marvin of East St. Louis, IL, and Gene of Minocqua; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Fr. Alan Bradley officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Carlson Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

Louis John Huber, 67, of 1407 Upland Ave., Rhinelander, died Saturday, February 8, 1986. He was born April 9, 1918, in Rhinelander. Survivors include his wife, Agnes; three daughters, Mr. Mary (Robert) Friday of Rhinelander, Sharon Huber of Oshkosh and Mrs. Debbie (David) Haug of Rhinelander; son, Michael of Oshkosh; sister, Mrs. Lois (Edward) Snook of Monico; two brothers, Marvin of East St. Louis, IL and Gene of Minocqua; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 11, 1986, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, with Rev. Allan Bradley officiating. Burial is in Forest Home Cemetery. He was raised in Rhinelander and was a 1936 graduate of Rhinelander High School. He served in the Army Air Force during World War II. He married the former Agnes Heise in Rhinelander and has lived here since. He was employed at St. Regis until retiring in October of 1981. He was the past president of the Little League and a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. (Carlson Funeral Service, Inc.)
