I am looking for information on some of my ancestors which resided in Appleton, Wisconsin: Effie Mae GERRY born Aug. 6, 1869 in Appleton, married James Albert WOOD in 1895, and died Jan. 1937 in Appleton. In particular, I am looking for the parents of Effie Mae GERRY and James Albert WOOD. And I am looking for any information on George GERRY, supposedly a brother of Effie Mae GERRY.

STOWE, Dennis- Appleton and Wife Alice? Benedict children Gaylord Carlton, carolton. Looking for the SHEPHERD/BENEDICT line and Alice"s? Siblings and descendants. One of her sisters married a Z. SMITH, and a DALLAS. Parents are David BENEDICT 1819- 6-17-1875 and Eliza (SHEPHERD) later Brookshire Aug 1825 or 1826- 4-8-1898. Family began in Waukesha Co., and Ended up in Twp of Osborn, Seymour, and Appleton.

I am looking for info about the family of Ludwig Carl BREITENFELD (BREITENFELDT) who resided in Center TWP in 1880. Ludwig immigrated it US approx 1867 with sons Louie, Willia & daug Anna who was born in WI. No info about wife. May have remarried. Attended Immanual Luth ch Black Creek WI. Son Louie married Marry WEIHING & moved to Green Valley WI & then to Rocky Ford, CO 1912 13. No info on William. Anna married a WEBER & moved to Portland OR ? No further info known.

Am researching any Hortonville MCMURDO. John MCMURDO b. 1808 in Dumfries Scotland, m Elizabeth HUNTER December 2, 1835 in Pennfield, New Brunswick. In 1851 he brought his family to Hortonville, Outagamie county and bought his brother James farm. The daughter Isabel married Jacob (d Civil War) than his brother Francis. Their child Leonard Steffen married Mary NORTON (Am looking for any information on the NORTONs - I have none. They lived their lives in Hortonville.
