Searching for any information on either of the wives of William GOBLER b. 1855 Oconto, WI resided in Appleton until his death. 1st wife Dena SAX b. Germany, 1856 believe married @1880 Appleton, WI died @1883 in Appleton, WI. Need to have parents for her. 2nd wife Anna FUHRBERG b.1858 Appleton, married to William 1883 she died in the state of WA. Her parents were Christian FUHRBERG and Caroline (unknown).

I'm looking for and have information on: Anton HELMRATH b. 1849, Prussia (Town Unknown) d. 1922. Married to Magdalena BAUER b 21 Feb 1845, Prussia (Town Unknown) d. 28 Sep 1893. They immigrated from Prussia (Town Unknown) in 1869 to NY (Ship possibly Allemania) with John BAUER b? d 1886? (brother of Magdalena) and John's wife. Both families lived on a farm in Freedom, WI. Children of Anton and Magdalena HELMRATH: Lena b 1873 d 1930, Peter b 1875 d 1955, Anton b 1877 d 1950, Joseph b1880/81 d 1936, William b 1885 d 1963, August b 1883? d 1956, Amelia b1879 d 1931. All born in Freedom, WI, all baptized at St. John's in Little Chute, WI Children of BAUER: Five?, names unkown. Anton HELMRATH was convicted for the manslaughter of John BAUER in 1886 and served time in Ontaumwa Prison and was released from Northern Hospital for the Insane, Wampum, WI in 1902.

Looking for information concerning Louis GASS and family. I understand Louis GASS lived in Appleton. I understand he was married three times--two of his wives were named Mary. I believe he also had been in Milwaukee. Trying to find out more about Henrietta GASS, daughter, who married Peter BELL.

LEIMER...I am looking for any information on the LEIMER family of Appleton from 1860s to today. Some given names include Franz Xavier, Louis, Charles, August, Gerald, Joseph, Sadie, Francis, Mate, Raymond, Therese, Louisa. Franz, Louis, and Charles emigrated from Bavaria to the area of Albany, NY in the 1850s. After serving in the Civil War, they moved to Appleton.
