FAHEY, FAHY, NOONE posted by Virginia Panco Squires on Tuesday, February 24, 1998
I am looking for information on my greatgrandparents, Patrick and Ann NOONE FAHY or FAHEY. Their daughter, Elizabeth Agnes, my grandmother, was born in Freedom, Wisonsin in 1875. I know very little about this family, except that Patrick was born in Ireland around the year 1831. He arrived in New York on September 7, 1851 and became a naturalized citizen in Randolph County, Indiana on September 24, 1853. I have been told, but it hasn't been confirmed that he and Ann were married in Oberlin, Ohio. I believe that there were at least two other children in the family; one son who left home at a fairly early age and another daughter who worked as a nurse. Any information on this family will be greatly appreciated. I would especially like to know which cemetery they are buried. If anyone knows of how I can check on this family, I would like to know. The distance in which I live from Wisconsin makes it difficult to check out things in person.

We think Christiana (maiden name unknown), widow of Andrew MURDIE, moved from Lisbon, St. Lawrence Co.,NY with one of her children, possibly William MURDIE. 1870 NY Census shows her still in NY, living with her son William. She was 64 years old in 1870. Does anyone have information on this family? There were several children in the family and other relatives may have moved to the area.

Surnames: BLAZIER, BLASER, BLAZER I am seeking information on Jakobus and Christiana BLAZER who moved to Appleton, Wisconsin around 1860. They had at least two sons one of whom was named Levi. I am descended from Levi who was born around 1849, according to a later census I found him on when he moved to Oconto Falls. Jakobus seems to have also gone by Abraham and Levi later changed his name to John. Unfortunatelly this is all of the information I have concerning Jakobus and Christiana.
