Surnames: DENEY, DENNY, DENNEY, DANY, ?TENNIE, MCNITT, LINDSAY, GALLEA Query: Am looking for information on Melissa (maiden: DENEY) GALLEA. Her husband was Burton Gallea (his family formally from Canada). Melissa's parents were John DENEY / DENNY and Lucetta MCNITT both born in the area of Ellisburg, Jefferson Co, New York. Melissa is listed with her two brothers Edgar John DENEY and Chandler DENEY in Ellisburg, Jefferson Co NY Census's, but is listed as a GALLEA with her husband Burton on the 1855(she is listed as age 15 and Burton age 22). Melissa DENEY GALLEA died somewhere in Outagamie County Wisconsin in 1881. Her brother Chandler was also in the 1861-1865 Col 3rd Wisc Cal., Chandler DENEY was born in the year 1837 and died 8 Mar 1900 in Waseca, Waseca Co Minn. , His wife was Lydia DENNY (daughter of Hugh & Susannah DENNY of New York).

Are we related? Giles H. POLAR born: June 1850 in Omro, Winnebago, WI son of Rancellor POLAR and Mary Jane CARSON. Giles died in 1923 possibly in Winnebago county. He married Delia ROADES (no other information available) in Medina, Outagamie, WI. They lived in or near Medina or Dale. Thanks in advance.

I'm looking for any information on Eva KNUTH b. abt Dec 1862 in Germany, immigrated to US abt 1881, md abt 1882 to Louis MARTIN. They're listed in the 1900 Plymouth, Sheboyan, WI census with their 7 children Flora, Arthur, Fred, Herman, Paul, Alma, and Otto. This is all the information that I have on her, so would appreciate any help, especially with her siblings and parents.

Researching family of Jan (John) SANDERS who immigrated from the Netherlands, province of Gelderland, in the year of 1848. The family settled in the town of Freedom, Wisconsin and was listed as being one of the original settlers. Family consists of John, born in Holland about 1806, his wife, Helena, born in Holland about 1810 and their children Steven (Stephen),Johanna, Hendrik, Arend, Cornelius, and John, all born in Holland. They later had two other children Herman, born 1849 in Wisconsin, and Peter, born about 1853, in Wisconsin. James SANDERS (brother to John SANDERS) also immigrated to the US in 1848 and settled, at least for a short time, in Freedom, Wisconsin. Evert SANDERS (brother to John and James)immigrated to the US in 1858 and settled in the town of Buchanan, where he held public office for several years.

Trying to locate an obituary for Frank A HOYT who died in Appleton on June 29, 1915. His remains were taken to Janesville, Rock Co. WI for burial in the Oakhill Cemetery. Frank was the son of Harvey and Emily (MORSE) Hoyt. He was married to Hannah (GILBERT) who died previously on May 11, 1912 in Antigo. WI. They had two known children (possibly more) Charles and Benjamin HOYT.

I am looking for information regarding Austin G. SLATTERY 1860-1936 and his wife Elizabeth (nee unknown). I know one of their sons Charles H. was born in Appleton and there were several other children of which I do have the names. They evidentally ended up in West Allis, Milwaukee area. I would like info regarding the period before they moved to the Milwaukee area.

Looking for information on Rose RABIDEAU b La Mere Canada 1860. Husband was Anton. Married Plattsburg NY. Anton who was reported to have taken "French Leave". Children by Anton were: Fred, Leo, George, and Edith. Next married Henry DENESEUS - one child Irene Theresa - b abt 1898. 3rd husband Nick THIESEN , b. 1869 Germany. Nick was believed to have owned the Fox River Valley Mineral Water Co. They moved to Antigo WI Rose died in 1935.

CONKEY, Jr approx 1907, her parents were Frederick Henry BLOOD, born Aug 6, 1848, Green Bay, WI; mother Lillian Elizabeth CURTICE, born oct 22, 1852, Whitewater, WI; they married Dec 16, 1875, Whitewater, WI. Lillian CURTICE BLOOD moved to Otis Orchards, WA in 1907 with two of her sons (and their families?), George Frederick BLOOD (b. Aug 19, 1881) and Charles Stewart BLOOD (b. Oct 2, 1883) and, her daughter Ruth BLOOD CONKEY. It appears her husband did not make the move, so would like to know if he had died before that time. Also seeking information re Frederick Henry BLOOD's father, "Col." Henry Levake BLOOD, 1812-1888 (?) Lillian BLOOD left Otis Orchards, WA about 1920, along with her sons but i don't know where they went. Ruth BLOOD CONKEY and her family moved to California.

Lucinda was married to William B. HERNING and resided at dale in 1910. Lucinda HERNING's daughter Pearl HERNING married Marcus HOPKINS and they lived on Main St in Dale, had two sons, Emmett and Merrill HOPKINS. Pearl HERNING HOPKINS died of flu in 1918 (or so family history says). William B. & Lucinda HERNING also had a son, Guy W. HERNING, born 1881 in Waupaca. Lucinda's father was Elijah RILEY.
