GAFFANEY, GAFFENEY, GAFFNEY, GAFNEY posted by Ricki Pitzner on Friday, October 10, 1997
Can you help me or tell me where I can find the cemetery where my great-great grandparents are buried. James & Sarah GAFFNEY both died around New London. James died around 1878 and Sarah died around 1872. I can't find any trace of them. I can't find a death certificate or cemetery record thru the State Historical Society library in Madison. The name has been spelled differently several times. I have found GAFNEY, GAFFNEY, GAFFANEY and GAFFENEY. Is it possible that all death records are NOT in Madison? Are all cemeteries, including family cemeteries, registered with Outagamie County? James & Sarah had 10 children, most of which grew up around New London, but I only know about 3 of them. Andrew Gaffaney died in New London and is buried in the Floral Hill cemetery. I don't know where to look anymore. Can you help me?

MCFAUL, STAFFORD posted by Retta McFaul on Wednesday, November 5, 1997
My family came to New London from Canada back in 1841. I show his name was Allen MCFAUL and that he was killed in a tub factory. He had a son by the name of Daniel MCFAUL who was married to Henrietta STAFFORD and moved to Royalton where they had 11 children. I don't have alot of information but I was hoping you may be able to help? I don't really know where to begin. If you have any suggestions please write.
