CHURCH,  Daniel A. PVT  born 1845 died 12 Dec 1913; location of grave Clear Lake Cemetery, Polk, WI, lot 1 block 87 age 68 years old. Mustered in 15 Aug 1862 age 17, mustered out 23 Aug 1865 age 20. Next of kin: Mrs. Daniel Church, (widow) Clear Lake, WI ,       Regiment was organized at Milwaukee, Wi  14 Oct 1862, three year service and disbanded 23 Aug 1865 as Co B 28th Wis Inf.  The regimental commanders were Col. James M. Lewis and Lt. Col Edmund B. Gray.

Next of Kin: David Halliday,(nephew) Clear Lake, WI  Mustered in: 2/27/1865, Mustered out: 6/14/1866.  Regiment Co. G. 50th WI inf. The unit was organized from 3/6 to 4/181865 to serve one year.  Disbanded by company form 4/19 to 6/14/1866.  Regimental commander was Co. John G. Clark.  SERVICE: 1 year 3mo 15 days

GOODWIN,   Myron PVT:   born 1837 died 1920 age 83.  location of grave Clear Lake Cemetery, Clear Lake, WI, lot 2 block 95 section 19, mustered in 10 Oct 1864 age 27, Co I 1st Wis H. A. Company mustered in at Madison, WI from 13 Aug 1864 - 8 Nov 1864 to serve for a period of one year.  Company disbanded  26 June 1865.  Regimental commander Col. Charles C. Messervey. Origianl strength of the regiment was 1777 plus 386 gained thru recruits for a total of 2163 men.  TOTAL LOSSES 4 killed or died of wounds, 74 of disease, 9 by accident.
