- The Rock County Farm Bureau - chartered on April 19, 1919
- is the oldest farm bureau in the
- State of Wisconsin. Credit goes to R. T. GLASSCO,
who had heard about a farm bureau in Illinois and suggested Rock
County's farmers form a similar organization. They did and elected
George HULL as their first president (he later became
the first president of the Wisconsin Farm Bureau and a state
senator).
- In 1920, the organization adopted the slogan, "Make
Rock County First." By 1924, the Rock
- County Farm Bureau Women had organized.
