& White Tails" by Leighton D. Morris,
Co. Superintendent of Schools, 1957
A settlement called Lemington
was the northern terminus of the Chippewa River and Menomonie railroad.
A small store and a few permanent homes are today found on this site.
The school was discontinued in 1947 and the pupils are now transported
to Couderay. The post office was discontinued in 1949.
