Manwaring School was maintained for the benefit of the family of Thomas Manwaring who lived near the N. E. corner of Section 3-39-6.

Terms of school were held as follows:

TIBBETTS, Lottie - Spring of 1885 for one month
GILBERT, May - Summer of 1885 for a little more than four months
