1. James Dorsey. Born on 25 Dec 1833 in Ireland. James died in Mattoon, WI on 6 Aug 1917, he was 83. Buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Hutchins TWP, Mattoon, WI.

 abt 1856 James married Emma Ann Wilsdon, daughter of Richard Wilsdon & Elizabeth Cross. Born on 9 Mar 1835 in Deddington Co., Oxfordshire, England. Emma Ann died in Mattoon, WI on 25 Mar 1925, she was 90.

They had the following children:

           i.     John W. Born on 8 Sep 1857 in Prospect Hill, Ontario, Canada. John W died on 3 Jul 1923, he was 65.   Can’t find him YET

On 15 Jul 1908 when John W was 50, he married Mary Ronan.

2. Mary Elizabeth Dorsey. Born on 31 Aug 1861 in Prospect Hill, Ontario, Canada. Mary Elizabeth died on 10 Feb 1959, she was 97. Buried in cemetery, Hutchins TWP, Mattoon, WI.

On 29 Mar 1880 Mary Elizabeth married Walter Minious Jersey, son of William Jersey & Hannah Elizabeth Barber, in Waupaca County. Born on 10 Sep 1855 in Hamden, Delaware Co., NY, USA. Walter Minious died on 26 Jan 1932, he was 76.

3. Ellen Dorsey. Born on 17 Oct 1864 in Prospect Hill, Perth Co., Ontario, Canada. Ellen died on 8 Feb 1937, she was 72.

On 30 Jun 1882 Ellen married Elijah G Griffin. Born in 1860 in New Hampshire. Elijah G died on 25 Dec 1940, he was 80.

4. Charlie Dorsey. Born on 31 Aug 1868 in Outagamie Co., WI. Charlie died on 21 Dec 1935, he was 67. Buried on 24 Dec 1935 in Floral Hill, New London.  Steve’s Grandfather

On 10 Jul 1897 Charlie was 28, married Sarah Leutjen De Smidt, daughter of William De Smidt & Delia Grotenhuis, in Shawano county. Born on 9 Sep 1875 in  in Holland, Sheboygan Co., WI. Sarah Leutjen died in New London, Outagamie Co., WI on 2 Jun 1965, she was 89.

5. Emma Ann Dorsey. Born on 22 Jun 1872. Emma Ann died in 1960, she was 87.

On 20 Jan 1899 when Emma Ann was 26, she married William Lige Gruner. Born on 13 Nov 1865. William Lige died on 15 Jul 1946, he was 80.

6. Hattie Dorsey. Born on 14 Aug 1874 in Wisconsin. Hattie died on 5 Jan 1961, she was 86.

On 14 Jun 1897 when Hattie was 22, she married James Peter Larson. Born on 2 Feb 1870. James Peter died on 23 Sep 1944, he was 74.
