Carol Paska sent in a copy of a booklet
called "Memories of Old Angelica" that was written a couple decades ago
by Mrs. Richard "Aunt Jennie" McGillivray & Mrs. Emil "Matie" Berndt.
It is especially interesting to me as Matie was a distant "cousin-in-law".
This excellent history booklet is full of pictures, stories and "what life
was like" in the early 1900's Angelica. I'll be posting excerpts
as time permits and will also do look-ups
in it if you have a specific family name you are looking for in Angelica.
Again, THANKS, Carol for finding us such a treasure!
AND, you can get your OWN COPY of
MEMORIES OF OLD ANGELICA
for $8.00 plus $3 shipping! |
