Deb Walsh sent in the following photographs -- hoping someone can help identify the rest of the people in the photos.  Her grandmother, Amanda (Sperberg) Thomas is in each photo and she believes the photos were taken in Red River, Richmond Twp., Shawano County.

She is especially looking for the identity of the 3 women on the left side of the first photo -- possibly sisters or sister-in-laws of Amanda?  And if you know the identity of anyone in the last FAMILY photo, please let us know -- we love to add names to faces!

Deb can be reached at:

Thanks Deb for sharing these with us and hopefully someone out there will fill in the blanks for you!

Deb sent the following email in to us:

I received a response from Karen Hoffman Craig, who said she asked her aunt about the pictures I had sent in. She knew who they were! So you can take them out of the unknown section and put them into the identified pictures. A success story!

And, we've corrected this page with the new info --

The woman on the far right is my grandmother, Amanda (Sperberg) Thomas. She was the daughter of William and Elise Sperberg of Red River, and I am positive this was taken there. The women are probably sisters or sisters-in-law.

The picture with the  4 ladies is as follows (left to right)
Ida (Sperberg) Staats; Emma (Sperberg) Buettner; Alice (Sperberg) Tibbetts; Amanda (Sperberg) Thomas

William & Elise Sperberg and their family in front of their home. Amanda is in the back row, 2nd from the right. Help with identifying her brothers and sisters would be appreciated, too.
UPDATE!!!!  The family picture is as follows:
Front row (left to right):   Rudolph Sperberg,  Elsie (Barfknecht) Sperberg, William Sperberg, Otto Sperberg
Back Row (left to right):  Ida (Sperberg) Staats, Lavina (Sperberg) Grueb,  Helen (Sperberg) Schroeder, Emma (Sperberg) Buettner, Martha (Sperberg) Christen, Amanda (Sperberg) Thomas, Alice (Sperberg) Tibbetts
