St. Martin's Lutheran - Belle Plaine Twp
Annual school census for "Shawano Series 11" -- I have no idea (YET!) of what township, etc. The questions that were asked are at the top of the form labeled "key".  The original books are kept at the Green Bay Area Research Center.  And many thanks to Debra Anderson for copying these for us!

UPDATE: August 3, 2004
I rec'd the following email from Paul Rakow in Liverpool, England:

<<Your unidentified school census (Shawano Co, Series 11) is in Belle Plaine, it's the St. Martin's parochial school.

I know that because it lists my grandmother and her brothers and sisters. Ed Steinke (Parents or Other Persons) was the stepmother of my grandmother.  The children listed against his name are his step-children, the Pahlow family (from Esther through to Lilly) and his own daughter Pauline. The other names in the census are mostly familiar members of St. Martin's Lutheran church in Belle Plaine.>>

THANKS, Paul!
