I can answer the question on the Township/School name for the SHAWANO COUNTY
SCHOOL CENSUSES SERIES 17 ~ 1925 in the schools section.
This school was the "Oak Park" school located in Richmond Twsp, just a
few miles north of the city of Shawano. The school was one room, grades
1 - 8. The school was located near the corner of Raguse Rd and Montour
Rd adjacent to the Bert Strauss farm. Old Bert Strauss was the janitor
and furnace keeper into the early 1950s. The school was discontinued in
the late 50s or early 60s, and dismantled or moved in the late 1960s. I
am very familiar with this school because it was where I attended my first
3 years of schooling, 1950-53.
