We also meet with community members wishing to know more about genealogy and how to get started on their Family Tree. We work with the Eagle River Historical Society on the Cemetery Walks. We have been working on up dating ALL of the cemetery transcriptions in Vilas County, putting them on Cd's and on the Vilas County WIGenWeb site as they are completed, this is done with a group working with Lorene Schertzl. We also do look ups for the Vilas Co. Web site. This past Fall and early Winter, we enlighten the Eagle River Girl Scouts on how to work up a Family Tree and that went towards earning one of their badges.
