This cemetery is located on Silver Creek Road, about ½ mile west of Highways 45 & 22, a little north of Bear Creek Corners.  It was established in the second half of the 1800s.  The first person to be buried there appears to be Walter D. Ingerson in 1869.  The last burial was Frank Thomack in 1929.  Russell & Delores Miller visited the cemetery on July 18, 2006, and report that there is nothing new since 1929.  It is not known why this cemetery has become inactive.  Many of the gravestones are in very bad shape and are becoming difficult to read.  It is fortunate that the Guyants recorded the gravestones in this cemetery in 1972 before the gravestones deteriorated any more than they already had.  There is much open space in the middle of the cemetery and it is not known if there are burials there with no tombstones.  Nevertheless, the town keeps the grass cut and trimmed, making this a beautiful small country cemetery.
