We were told about a place where there were two markers, but all found was one footstone initialed “E.M.” We located some relatives who looked up the names and dates in their family records. They told us that a few years back migrant workers had used the markers for steps to their shack.

To locate the burial ground, go west out of Waupaca on Hyw 54 to County Trk Q, turn north, go to Frost Valley Road, then go west about ½ mile and turn north again into where some buildings used to be, drive thru the fields to the river bank, then go east some some pine trees.
