Amelia Schultz
FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS SCHULTZ.
Mrs. Amelia Schultz died yesterday at her home in Marion
after being ill for a year. She was 78 years old, born Dec. 9, 1869 in the
town of Grant, the daughter of Carl Gollnow and Mathilda Kleeman. Mrs.
Schultz lived in Marion for 25 years, coming from a farm in the town of
Seneca, she was married Oct. 24, 1890 to Albert Schultz. She was a member
of the Evangelical United Lutheran church, Marion. Survivors are her
husband Albert Schultz, 3 children (Meta) Mrs. Robert Frederick of Marion,
Art Schultz, Shawano, and Henry Schultz of Seneca, 5 grandchildren and 5
great-grandchildren. One sister, Mrs. Frank Westphal, Marion; and 3
brothers, Otto Gollnow of Marion, Dave and John of Marion. Funeral
services will be held Monday, Jan. 19 at 2:00. Burial will be In the
Greenleaf cemetery.

Albert Schultz
ALBERT SCHULTZ SERVICES
TUESDAY
Albert F. Schultz, 91,
died at l0:40 PM Saturday at Clintonville. Mr. Schultz was born in Germany
on Oct. 30, 1865. He came to America at the age of 3 1/2 and settled in
Pella. On Oct. 24, 1890 he married Amelia Gollnow. After marriage they
lived in the town of Seneca for several years before moving to Marion in
1922. He was a member of the Salem United Brethern church, Marion.
Surviving are two sons,
Art of Shawano and Henry of Marion, 5 grandchildren, 11
great-grandchildren, 3 sisters, (Elizabeth) Mrs. Fred Ebert of Stockton,
Calif., (Minnie) Mrs. Al Briggs of Oshkosh and (Emma) Mrs. Edward Meyer of
Clintonville.
Funeral services will be
held at 2 PM Tuesday at the Salem United Brethern church. Burial will be
in the Greenleaf cemetery, Marion.

Evelyn Schmidt
Funeral services were held Tuesday, February
10, 1981 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Marion for Mrs. Armin (Evelyn)
Schmidt, 58, of 416 Siegert Street, Marion, who died the afternoon of
February 7, 1981 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Appleton, after a short
illness. The Rev. David Wenger and Rev. John D. Stockbridge officiated
with burial to be in the spring in the Greenleaf Cemetery, Marion. Mrs.
Schmidt, the former Evelyn Schmidt, was born September 13, 1922 in the
Town of Wyoming, daughter of Mrs. Hulda Schmidt and the late Rudolph
Schmidt. She spent her early life in the Town of Wyoming and on March
20, 1943 was united in marriage to Armin Schmidt at Big Falls. The
couple lived on a farm in the Town of Grant for four years and then
moved to Marion where they lived since. Mrs. Schmidt was a member of
St. John’s Lutheran Church, Marion, and was a past member of the ALCW of
the church. She was also a past Bible class teacher and a former Girl
Scout leader. Survivors include her husband, Armin; one daughter,
Susan, Mrs. Clarence Schmidt, Appleton; two grandchildren; her mother,
Mrs. Hulda Schmidt; one brother, Edwin Schmidt; and one sister, Leora
Schmidt, Marion. Also several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in
death by her father. Pallbearers were Ralph Nabak, Ron Howell, Milton
Aasen, Lorence Verch, Clarence Verch and Elmer Verch. The Eberhardt
Funeral Home, Marion, was in charge of arrangements.

Hulda Schmidt
Hulda Schmidt, age 98, of the Greentree Health Care Center,
Clintonville, formerly of Marion, died November 29, 1994 at the center.
Hulda was born on September 19, 1896 in Germany, the daughter of the
late Edward and Augusta (Abraham) Neuman. She moved with her parents to
the United States in 1921 and married Rudolph Schmidt on November 23,
1921 in the Township of Wyoming, Waupaca County. The couple farmed in
that township, then moved to Marion in 1949. Mr. Schmidt died on July
30, 1976. Hulda moved to the health care center in 1985. She was a
member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Marion. Survivors include a son,
Edwin (Winnifred) Schmidt, Marion; four grandchildren; and nine
great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and two
daughters. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday December 1,
1994 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Marion with the Rev. Mark Ziemer
officiating. Interment was in Greenleaf Cemetery, Marion. The
Eberhardt – Stevenson Funeral Home, Marion, was in charge of
arrangements.

Leora L. Schmidt
Leora L. Schmidt, age 58, died Tuesday
morning, December 19, 1985 at the Greentree Health Care Center,
Clintonville after a lengthy illness. She was born February 23, 1927 in
the Township of Wyoming, Waupaca County. She was the daughter of Hulda
and the late Rudolph Schmidt. She grew up in the Town of Wyoming area,
later moving to Marion in 1949 where she worked in different beauty
shops in the area, later owning her own. She was a member of St. John
Lutheran Church, Marion. Survivors include her mother, Hulda Schmidt,
Marion; a brother and sister-in-law, Edwin and Winnifred Schmidt,
Marion; four nieces: Mrs. Butch (Susan) Schmidt, Appleton, Mrs. Dave
(Barbara) Schuster, Embarrass, Mrs. Wayne (Mary) Helms, Marion, Mrs. Ron
(Linda) Gast, Minneapolis. She was preceded in death by her father and
a sister. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, December 13, 1985 at
the Eberhardt Funeral Home, Marion with the Rev. John D. Stockbridge
officiating, and spring internment will be in the Greenleaf Cemetery,
Marion.

Rudolph Schmidt
Rudolph Schmidt, 84, died Friday, July 30, 1976. He was born June 20,
1892 in the Town of Wyoming, Waupaca County, and was the son of the late
William and Marie Schmidt. He married Hulda Neuman on November 23,
1921. They farmed in the Town of Wyoming until 1949 when they moved to
Marion, where they lived since. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran
Church, Marion. He is survived by his wife, Hulda; and daughters,
Evelyn, Mrs. Armin Schmidt, and Leora Schmidt, both of Marion; one son,
Edwin R. Schmidt, Rt. 2, Tigerton; four granddaughters; three
great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Lydia Jahsman, Symco and Lillie
Erickson, Marion. Two brothers and four sisters preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday August 1, 1976 at St. John’s
Lutheran Church, Marion with the Rev. Norman P. Scheide officiating.
Interment was in Greenleaf Cemetery, Marion. The Eberhardt Funeral
Home, Marion, was in charge of arrangements.
